FarmKonnect Agribusiness Nigeria Limited RC:1440623: We provide innovative services to enhance farming condition, facilitate smarter farming operation through modern technologies, skills, and partnering, to improve productivity and effective food distribution with the aim of mitigating food insecurity and malnutrition. At FarmKonnect, we believe that small scale farming is only an hobby and can hardly make an impact on the global food shortage, therefore we developed the concept of Agricultural Real Estate which enables us leverage the power of economics of scale towards food producton. Using peace as our panacea, we believe when there is enough food for all, there will be less violence and thus peace will radiate. With that as a backbone, we herald Agriculture is Peace.

BACKGROUND

The history of FarmKonnect started as far back as 1994 where a young man was serving as an apprentice in a small aquaculture farm in Mokola GRA Ibadan, Nigeria. The experience of the young man developed into an undying passion for aquaculture which eventually spilled over to other areas of agriculture. Starting with a single fish pond at the place of apprenticeship, the business grew and gradually became what it is today with a vision of becoming a relevant force in Nigeria’s agricultural industry.
